Participation Details
Eligibility: students of grades 6 to 8
Team size: 3 students per team (please ensure both girls and boys participate)
Entries per school: up to 2 teams
Date: Wednesday, 16 September 2026
Venue: salar jung museum, Hyderabad, auditorium, western wing
Reporting time: 10:00 am. The museum has parking facility. Children should be accompanied by 2 teachers. Parents are not permitted for this event.
Quiz Format
Preliminary round
All participating teams will compete in a written preliminary round. Based on their performance, the finalists will be shortlisted for the quiz finals.
Quiz Finals
Shortlisted teams will compete in a 5-round live quiz.

Program Schedule
Time — Program Details
10:00 – 10:30 am — reporting time
10:30 – 11:00 am — introduction, welcome address & inaugural
11:00 am – 12:00 pm — written preliminary round
12:00 – 12:30 pm — break (children should bring their own lunch packs, some refreshments will be served)
12:30 – 1:45 pm — announcement of finalists & quiz finals – 5 rounds
1:45 – 2:00 pm — announcement of winners

For participating schools
Each school may nominate up to two teams, with 3 students in each team.
Schools are requested to confirm participation and share the details of their nominated teams with the organisers latest by 6 pm on Monday, 14th September 2026.
Due to space constraints, only the first 50 schools will be able to participate. Registration is on first come first serve. The museum may make exceptions for kendriya vidyalaya and navodaya schools.
IMPORTANT
Participating students should report at the venue by 10:00 am on 16 September 2026 and remain present for the duration of the programme.
