वर्तमान में, संग्रहालय में तीन ब्लॉकों में 39 गैलरी हैं: सेंट्रल ब्लॉक (27 गैलरी), वेस्टर्न ब्लॉक (7 गैलरी) और ईस्टर्न ब्लॉक (5 गैलरी), जिनमें लगभग 14,000 वस्तुएं प्रदर्शित हैं।
भारतीय संग्रहों में तेलंगाना, तमिलनाडु, कर्नाटक, केरल, ओडिशा, पश्चिम बंगाल, उत्तर प्रदेश, मध्य प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, पंजाब, राजस्थान, हिमाचल प्रदेश, गुजरात और जम्मू एवं कश्मीर जैसे राज्यों के साथ-साथ कांगड़ा, बशोली, जयपुर, उदयपुर, मेवाड़, हैदराबाद, गोलकोंडा, बीजापुर, कुरनूल और निर्मल जैसे सांस्कृतिक केंद्रों की वस्तुएं शामिल हैं।
