Working Hours
- From 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (open continuously).
- The booking/ticket counter closes at 5:15 pm.
- The museum is open every day except Fridays and official closed holidays.
ADMISSION TICKETS
- ₹50 per adult (above 18 years) for Indian nationals.
- ₹20 per child (above 5 years) for Indian nationals.
- ₹1,000 per person for foreign visitors.
- ₹50 per still camera or smartphone.
Students from government schools under the age of 14 are allowed free entry upon presenting their school ID card and an authorisation letter.
A ₹500 fine applies for photography without a valid ticket.

Requests to Visitors
- Free entry for children up to 5 years of age.
- Smartphones are not permitted to be used for photography inside the museum without the purchase of a designated ticket.
- A cloakroom facility is available for storing mobile phones, baggage, and other belongings for a nominal fee. Visitors may store their belongings in the cloakroom and must collect them before the counter closes at 5:15 pm.
- Children up to 5 years free School students up to 18 years of age are allowed free entry with a valid school ID card or authorisation letter.
- All smartphone users wishing to take photographs are required to purchase a mobile ticket. A penalty of ₹500 will be charged for using a mobile phone camera without a ticket.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited.
- Please utilise the cloakroom facility located near the booking counter for depositing your luggage.
- Please do not touch the objects on display, as they are susceptible to damage.
- Please avoid taking phone calls and capturing selfies within the galleries.
- Prohibited items such as knives, scissors, blades, razors, matchboxes, and lighters are not allowed on the premises.
- Cooperate with the security personnel.
- Please use the bins provided and help keep the surroundings neat and clean.
- If you wish to leave a comment or compliment, please use the suggestion book located at the exit gate.
- The use of flash photography in the galleries is strictly prohibited.
